Job Opportunity: Evidence & Policy journal seeks Associate Editor

The Editorial Management Board of the journal Evidence & Policy invites applications for the post of Associate Editor. Evidence & Policy is the first peer – reviewed journal dedicated to comprehensive and critical assessment of the relationship between research evidence and the concerns of policymakers and practitioners, as well as researchers.

Associate Editors play a critical role in the editorial process, particularly in taking papers through the peer review process. They also play an active role on the Editorial Management Board which meets twice a year. The standard term of an Associate Editor is 3 years. The Board typically includes 2 or 3 Associate Editors at any one time.

We would particularly welcome applicants with expertise in one or more of the following areas: public policy, health and social policy, criminology, public engagement, environmental policy, social care and human services. An interest in digital communication/ social media would also be an advantage.
