Aditi Kapoor began her career as a journalist with The Times of India and has over two decades of experience in evidence-based policy research, media advocacy and capacity development. Her areas of specialization include environmental governance, climate change, livelihoods and gender. She has worked on integrating gender in India’s State-level climate plans, studied role of women in adaptive agriculture and prepared Training-of-Trainers manual for grassroots women leaders in the Indo-Gangetic belt of Nepal, India and Bangladesh. She has strong writing and communication skills and several papers and journal articles to her credit. A former Board member of World Resources Institute, Washington D.C. and LEAD-India, New Delhi, she is co-founder of Alternative Futures, a policy research and communication group.
