David J Olson

David J. Olson has managed his own global development communications consulting firm, Olson Global Communications, since 2011. He has more than 25 years of strategic communications, advocacy and non-profit management experience on five continents. After serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in Togo, he managed an agricultural program in Mali for Lutheran World Relief, and then served as country representative for PSI social marketing programs in Zambia, Bangladesh and Paraguay. He was communications director of PSI and later, of the Global Health Council. He is an active social media practitioner, blogging for the Huffington Post, Impatient Optimists and others and tweeting @davidjolson.
