Iskhak Fatonie

Iskhak Fatonie is a Senior Programme Officer at the Knowledge Sector Initiative (KSI). He is overseeing KSI’s multi-stakeholder working group on bureaucracy and public sector reform, i.e. policymakers, universities, CSOs, local governments, etc. Over the past eight years he has worked with government institutions at national and sub-national level in Indonesia to provide technical support on public administration. He used to work with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Indonesia, managing the public sector reform programme including local governance, regional competitiveness, public service delivery, and decentralisation of regulatory frameworks. Iskhak has a PhD in political science majoring in public administration from the University of Vienna, Austria. His research interests include public policy, bureaucracy reform, government studies, peace studies, and political science.
