Job Opportunity: Writer for a policy briefing on public service broadcasting in the Middle East | BBC Media Action

BBC Media Action is looking to hire a writer to co-author an 8000-10000 word policy briefing on public service broadcasting in the Middle East. The briefing will be rooted in BBC Media Action’s project work in the region. The writer will help elucidate the organisation’s thinking and practice for a policy audience, working alongside staff. Exceptional writing and analytic skills are required as is in-depth knowledge of the region’s changing political and media landscape. The writer must be comfortable conducting interviews in Arabic. This project will commence in early 2015 and last roughly 3-4 months on a part time basis. Some travel to region required. Does not need to be UK based.
