Job Opportunity: IDRC seeks Knowledge Translation Program Officer

The IDRC‘s Governance for Equity in Health Systems Programme is looking for a Knowledge Translation Program Officer for their Innovating for Maternal and Child Health in Africa initiative.

IMCHA emphasises an implementation research approach to improve maternal, newborn and child health, with strong research to policy linkages.

About the job:

  • Contribute to the articulation and profiling of the results of the Innovating for Maternal and Child Health in Africa initiative
  • Support the development of compelling communications materials appropriate for a variety of external audiences, situating the initiative within the GEHS research uptake strategy in order to leverage a wider portfolio of research results
  • Develop and execute uptake strategies to show the relevance of research findings for key Canadian and international audiences, with emphasis on how to translate knowledge to practice for policy makers and practitioners
  • Administer and coordinate the day-to-day program operations, including high-quality reporting within IDRC and for partner agencies
