There are many ways to bring a story to life, and at TTI we’re always searching for new ways to tell the complex tales of think tanks and their work to influence policy. In this new video series, we use documentary films to share the incredible work of three policy research organisations: CRES, CSTEP, and INESAD. Watch these videos, launched today.
Securing Renewable Energy in India
Curbing Tobacco Use in Senegal
The first of these films profiles CSTEP’s work on renewable energy. The film illustrates how, through research on market-based mechanisms, CSTEP is helping India to meet its demand for energy efficiently more effectively.
The second film is produced by CRES and showcases how their efforts to curb tobacco use in Senegal resulted in a smoking ban and a tobacco tax in 15 West African countries.
INESAD also showed a film at the screening this morning. It focused on their work in using simulation tools to generate evidence aimed at combatting deforestation in Bolivia.
The videos bring to life the success of think tanks as they work to influence policy. They highlight the relationship between think tanks and policymakers, recognizing how this interaction happens on an ongoing basis.
