About the Role
Christian Aid is looking for an outstanding individual to lead our UK advocacy and campaigns. The postholder will head a team of 15 people that influences government and parliament, leads our campaign strategy, mobilises our campaign supporters, and engages youth and child audiences in schools and churches. She or he will ensure that our advocacy and mobilisation is rooted in our policy and programmes, and leads to real change in the lives of people suffering from poverty and injustice. They will have the judgement, energy and experience needed to make Christian Aid a visible, robust and influential voice in the UK, who inspires our supporters and effectively engages those in positions of power. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, excellent communicator, and experienced in initiating and leading projects. They will represent Christian Aid externally, and be skilled at building networks and managing teams. They will be committed to Christian Aid’s vision and values.
