The use of storytelling to promote research is a relatively new trend, but it has emerged as one of the most effective methods to communicate the results of research. The idea behind this technique is to use storytelling to share the stories of individuals and communities that are grappling with issues such as climate change, human rights abuses, terrorism, and economic instability.

The Goodman Center have pulled together five resources based around tips and guidance on presentation style, best practices of storytelling, and working together online. They highlight a range of best practices in communication recommended from experts in the field.
