The Covid-19 pandemic meant that decision-makers needed immediate access to the latest evidence to make informed policy responses. The crisis highlighted the need to be responsive in generating and drawing on existing high-quality evidence at a time when we need to make decisions clearly, quickly, and with certainty.
The CEDIL Conference 2022 (22-25 March, 2022) explored experiences and lessons learnt from experts around the world on generating and using evidence during a crisis. Innovative approaches, methods and themes were featured including looking at using big data and machine learning.
The webinars from the conference, including ‘Promoting Evidence use during a crisis’ and ‘Transferring evidence between contexts’, have been recorded and are available to view by visiting the CEDIL website here.
