We’re a creative team made up of people with a wide range of talents, styles and expertise. But we are united in our relentless dedication to end world hunger. No challenge is too big. With you we can do it. Join us.
The Digital Engagement Officer is a key member of the Communications team in the Fundraising & Communications department. It’s a great time to join our team, as we look to embed our new digital engagement strategy and build momentum on the recent success we’ve achieved online. This is a fun and rewarding role that will drive forward our email journeys, develop new acquisition tools online and supercharge our website content. Working with the Digital Engagement Manager, you’ll plan and produce brilliant emails and website content that inspire new and existing supporters to take action, such as signing petitions, making a financial gift or simply signing up to hear more about our work. This role is needed because we want to mobilise more of the public behind our mission. We need more people in the UK to care about global hunger, and feel like – together – we can actually do something about it. The Digital Engagement Officer is going to help us make that happen. In this role, you’ll also produce creative content for our digital channels – with a focus on creating online acquisition tools, such as quizzes or handraisers, to help grow our subscriber lists. We’re a close-knit team sharing the same common goal: to produce high-quality content to raise awareness of our brand so that people can take action to end life-threatening hunger. We’re innovative and creative, and we take great pride in leading on projects that deliver positive solutions for the communities we support around the world. You’ll also work closely with the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) and with our counterparts in the Action Against Hunger international network.
