Malaria Consortium is recruiting for an Internal Communications Manager to join our team in London, UK.

In this role, you’ll work with Malaria Consortium’s senior leadership team to develop and execute strategic executive and change communications for over 600 staff based in Africa and Asia, including compelling messaging, presentations and stories of progress, building engagement with employees around a shared culture. You will devise creative solutions to help effectively communicate roadmaps, strategies and impact to teams worldwide and reinforce Malaria Consortium’s ambitions as a learning organisation at all levels. Alongside this, you will lead initiatives to strengthen the organisation’s existing platforms to increase internal engagement.

The primary purpose of this role is to develop and deliver a comprehensive internal communications strategy that will engage staff worldwide around the delivery of Malaria Consortium’s portfolio, helping to drive business and build a shared culture that is purpose driven and authentic.  The role will co-ordinate, plan and drive forward Malaria Consortium’s internal engagement, ensuring staff are informed, are heard and connected to our work worldwide.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Educated to degree level or above in a relevant field, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • A strong communicator with experience and knowledge of delivering internal communications within a multi-national
  • Experience of developing and delivering effective internal communications plans, campaigns and content
  • Experience of producing powerful content for different channels and audiences
  • Strong knowledge of current trends in internal communications
  • Extensive experience of internal engagement and building strong working relationships with senior management and department leads
  • Strong experience of event organisation and management
  • Strong experience of monitoring and evaluating advocacy activities for impact
  • Good understanding of using social media
  • The postholder must have right to work in the country based

We are currently hybrid working with some requirements to work at the London office, however the postholder must reside in England for the duration of the role.
