Useful applications of ChatGPT in knowledge work – KM4Dev online Knowledge Cafe – 14 March, 2.00pm GMT

By 08/03/2023

KM4Dev is a global networked community of international development practitioners who are interested in knowledge management and knowledge-sharing issues and approaches, and who seek to share ideas and experiences. You can join their D-group to take part in discussions and their regular online Knowledge Cafes, and have a look at their online Knowledge Management for Development Journal.

The next online Knowledge Cafe is on Tuesday, 14 March, 2.00-3.30pm (GMT). It’s free, but sign up in advance to join the KM4Dev D-group to gain access to the Zoom session.

Useful applications of ChatGPT in knowledge work

The chatbot ChatGPT has been the talk of the town for the past three months. It is officially the fastest growing consumer app of all time. Playing around with it is fun, even though its inventing false facts can be annoying, but can it be used productively for the work of KM4Dev members in its current form? Definitely!

In this Zoom session, Johannes Schunter will explore this question and show us a number of useful applications in development work where our organisations can benefit *if* we are clear about what the bot is good at and what it **is not** good at. Please bring your questions and scenarios from your work, so we can discuss and try out a few things that are relevant to your practical work!
