ASSAR–R2A Climate Month: Time’s Up
I am a Senior Program Officer working mainly on The Collaborative Adaptation Research Initiative in Africa and Asia (CARIAA), which is a partnership between the International Development Research Centre and the Department for International Development. The Program focus is on increasing the resilience of the most vulnerable populations and their livelihoods in areas most at risk of climate change impacts. The Program’s geographical scope includes Africa and Asia, and specifically semi-arid zones, mega-deltas and densely populated river basins including glacier-fed systems.
Research to Action (R2A) is a website catering for the strategic and practical needs of people trying to improve the uptake of development research, in particular those funded by DFID.
We have structured the site and populated it with material that we think will be immediately useful to this audience, but also to development researchers in general who would like to be more strategic and effective in their communications.
R2A is produced by a small editorial team, led by CommsConsult. We welcome suggestions for and contributions to the site.
