Peter is leading engagement efforts and coordination for the vision, strategy, implementation, and monitoring of a new strategic plan. He previously led a multidisciplinary team at IDRC that strengthens policy research capacity in developing countries on issues of economic policy, governance, and health systems. Peter has more than 30 years of experience in international development, including positions at the Institute of Development Studies, UK; Helvetas Vietnam; University of Reading, UK; and the Department of Secondary Education, Botswana. Peter holds a PhD and MSc in agricultural education from the University of Reading.
