First Global Conference on Research Integration and Implementation

09/07/2013

The First Global Conference on Research Integration & Implementation is a three day event taking place between the 8-11 September in Canberra, Australia. It will look to tackle a series of real world problems related to the use and application of research.

The overarching aim of the conference is to review what is already known about research integration & implementation and to establish a solid knowledge base for moving forward. The conference is bringing together unconnected communities and everyone whose research interests include:

  •  understanding problems as systems
  • combining knowledge from various disciplines and practice areas
  • dealing with unknowns to reduce risk, unpleasant surprises and adverse unintended consequences
  • helping research teams collaborate more effectively
  •  implementing evidence in improved policy and practice.

The Conference is a great opportunity to showcase your work, present your past achievements and current work by getting involved and submitting digital posters. Research to Action  has submitted a digital poster which you can view here along with many others. Stretching over three days the conference has multiple activities which you can be apart of by either attending, online or at co conferences in Germany, Netherlands and Uruguay.
