R4D has long been committed to seeing development research have an ‘impact’ on policy and practice, and as a consequence help deliver positive development outcomes.

Their belief (like our own) is that “communication and engagement is key to research uptake”, However, questions remain relating to what to communicate to whom, when and why? R4D is seeking to know more about how much researchers and research intermediaries know and understand about research communication and research uptake through a new survey.
