With the development landscape continually adapting, the UK Collaborative on Development Research (UKCDS) have analysed and outlined five trends that are key in driving research over the coming decade. This brief, released in 2016, identifies trends which will require new research agendas, cultures and capacities in order for all countries to respond to their sustainable development challenges. Based on interviews and research and supported with case study evidence, UKCDS have cleverly highlighted these trends whilst also documenting the key challenges that each may face.
