How is the communication landscape changing?

Lize Swartz’ recent blog discusses the findings of a recent workshop for EADI members held in Bonn, Germany. The workshop used data from the last meeting as EADI Research Communications Working Group, more than five years ago, to help reflect on how EADI members are currently communicating and whether it’s sufficient and effective, from a social justice perspective.

The article provides insights to algorithms, social media platforms, accessibility and more. It examines how these tools influence the dissemination and perception of research within the development community. By evaluating the effectiveness of current communication strategies, the blog suggests new methodologies that might better engage diverse audiences and ensure that critical research reaches not only academics, but also policymakers and the broader public.
