Global Voices Content Developer – From Poverty to Power Blog (CAP0371)

The Role
Oxfam GB is looking for a Content Developer to develop a new content stream raising lesser heard and more diverse voices on the critical development issues for the ‘From Poverty to Power blog’, thereby contributing to global development discussions.
In this rewarding and challenging role, you will work closely with the Senior Strategic Adviser to commission, interview and create blogs, podcasts and videos from the global south, with a view to contribute more diverse views to debates and discussions around international development.
Simultaneously, you will also work with the Research and Publishing Team to search and aggregate the best international development content from around the web as well as create online surveys assessing audience engagement and thereby make recommendations for improvement.
You will also implement new ideas for types of content, debates and discussions, therefore extending the research of the blogs, podcasts and videos.
What we are looking for:
Our next Global Voices Content Developer will have excellent writing and copy-editing and will be educated to a graduate level in a relevant discipline, with experience in communications tools and approaches. You will have experience in creating audio and video types of content. You will also have a proven ability to find and develop thoughtful stories that works for social media and diverse audience as well as the ability to support and work with a diverse range of stakeholders.

The location of this role is allowed in the following countries, but please note you must be a national and have the right to work in the country you wish to work in without sponsorship: UK, Tajikistan, Pakistan, Rwanda, Zambia, Lebanon or Jordan. This is a fixed term contract role for 2 years and is part time (0.5 FTE)
