Karolina Bohacova is an editorial associate on Research to Action, where she writes about research impact. Born in the Czech Republic, Karolina is a freelance journalist and content writer specialising in social issues, human rights, and international development. In the past, Karolina worked for the Reuters news agency in Poland, producing video news from Central Europe and the Balkans. She produced news from multiple elections in Eastern Europe and other high-profile political and social events. She gained further experience with international journalism in Tbilisi, Georgia, where she worked for the independent multimedia outlet Coda Story. Apart from writing, Karolina has experience with creating graphic promotional materials for events, managing social media channels, and producing and editing video and audio projects. She would like to make a difference by telling stories across borders and engaging with international audiences.
